Appointed as Judge, Federal Shariat Court on 26.03.2024

Mr. Justice Ameer Muhammad Khan was born on 01^st of June, 1963 in village Bhaun of District Chakwal, completed his early education from Chakwal and passed his LL.B from Punjab University Law College, New Campus, Lahore. Enrolled as an Advocate on 22.02.1989 and as Advocate High Court on 14.07.1992.

He joined Punjab District Judiciary as Additional District & Sessions Judge on October, 2001 through Competitive Examination and served as Additional District & Sessions Judge in District Gujrat, Sahiwal, M.B.Din, Multan, M.B.Din, Gujranwala, Lahore, Rawalpindi & Lahore. Promoted as District & Sessions Judge in the year 2011 and served as District & Session Judge in the District Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot, Lodhran, Mianwali, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Sargodha, Jhang, Hafizabad & Bahawalpur.

He also served as AD&SJ/Special Judge, Anti-Terrorism Court No. II, Multan, D&SJ/Judge Anti-Terrorism Court-I, Lahore, D&SJ/Special Judge, Anti-Corruption Court, Rawalpindi, D&SJ/Special Judge, Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling, Punjab, Lahore, D&SJ/Special Judge, Accountability Court-IV, Lahore & D&SJ/Special Judge, Offences in Banks-I, Lahore.

On 26.09.2022 he was posted as Director General, Directorate of District Judiciary, Lahore High Court, Lahore, He took oath on 26^th March, 2024 as Judge of Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan.
